Chicken Wakadori.

wala-024.JPG

This is what I have been craving for lately. Chicken Wakadori Salad from UCC.  Hay, sarap!

Pardon the pic, it doesn’t do justice to how good this salad is.  Super yummy!  For days now, I make my driver drive all the way to Westgate in Alabang to order me a take out of this yummy treat!

Play pretend.

Everytime we go home to Pampanga to visit my family, do you know what my 3 year old little girl is busy with? She’s busy playing or should I say pretending to play with my brothers’ xbox 360. Oh, you should see her. She acts as if she knows what she’s doing where the fact is, she doesn’t even have a clue, haha. She just keeps on pressing the buttons on the wireless controller non-stop copying my twin brothers. This keeps her entertained for hours! One silly girl she is.

Furniture shopping etc.

As I have listed on my to-do-list on the previous post, last Saturday was spent trooping to Megamall to check out the bed, dresser, and study table set at Color and Life before deciding on getting the Sleeping Beauty Furniture Set at Rustans. Here are some of the photos of the furniture set from Color and Life I am considering for Sophia’s room. Haven’t decided to this day though what to get. I am kinda still leaning on the Sleeping Beauty Set from Rustans but the husband likes the first picture here for the sole reason that it is 40k cheaper than the one from Rustans. :D But being the mommy, I’ll have the last say of course. :D I hope to get a pic of the one from Rustans and I’ll post it here too so you guys can give me your choice. I need help!

Alin ang mas type nyo among these three?

Was also get to eat the chicken and salsa I am craving for at Megamall. Hay, sarap! It is very rare that I get to eat a lot as since I got pregnant, I lost the healthy appetite I used to have. After eating, we were able to go around the mall a bit. You see, it has been years since we last visited Megamall! we don’t frequent this side of town kase, haha.  Anyway, the husband almost bought himself new Merrell shoes but changed his mind the last minute. That’s very typical of him, haha. Kuripot yun sa sarili niya!

Travel Plans.

As I have written in my Kakayanin ko kaya? post, there was a plan to troop to HK this coming June with some friends and our kids. It got me all excited as I’m sure it’ll be so much fun traveling with our close friends. Not to mention we are getting great flight deals for the trip if ever.

But things took a different turn just yesterday. Jon’s bestfriend and his family were granted US visas and boy oh boy, they are now desperately making us kulit to take a US trip with them (they are initially attending a wedding) instead and forget all about our HK plan. Surprisingly, Jon is open to the idea. Huwat?!?! I wonder if kayanin ko ang US trip this coming August as I’ll be 6 months pregnant by then. I clearly remember kase how I got all dizzy and almost fainted in HK while we were there when I was 5 months pregnant with Sophia. So I’m now having second thoughts. For the first time, baka ako ang mag-back out sa travel plan na ito. Hay, bahala na.

But when I think about it, Sophia will be 3.5 yo by then, baka naman easier na? Besides, Jon is willing to be the one to take care of the little girl. But still, feeling ko it’ll be a super tiring trip which I wonder if I ( my body) can take. Hay, its so hard to decide!!!

A drug story.

Today, I took Sophia’s yaya to the OB to have her injected with Depotrust, an injectable contraceptive. She wants to be safe than sorry as she mothers two kids now that she can barely support financially. While we were waiting in line for her turn, we can’t help but overhear those beside us talk about how one of their nephews has been a victim of drug abuse and how he packed his bags and sneaked out of the house when he learned that his parents were planning on putting him into a drug rehab. Since then, they never saw him again. It has been 7 years. Interesting huh? What drugs can do nga naman.

Kayanin ko kaya?

To travel to HK this coming June?

Hmm, we’ll see.

Boys coming over.

We had unexpected guests last Thursday. Jon’s friends came over and spent the night as they were headed to Batangas Racing Circuit the next day. There were five of them and last minute, I had to prepare dinner and fix up our two extra rooms to accommodate them. Good thing I just came from my grocery shopping so was able to ask my helper to prepare turbo chicken for them and pinakbet in an instant. Good thing too that I have a good number of extra mattress to use for them to sleep on. The boys had fun as they had a few drinks before they called it a night. The next day, surprisingly, even if they slept late, they were all up early as they were excited to attend the racing event and try the racing circuit themselves.

The husband came home that afternoon with pictures of Gabby dela Merced (haha) and a new car on his wishlist, a Subaru racing car! Ayayay!
